The present investigation is of quantitative type with a descriptive design and transversal focus, whose objective was to identify the main labor competencies within the processes of linking graduates of the Uniersity Cooperative of Colombia leyer program from the employers' perception of Espinal-Tolima, for this research was taken into account a sample of 12 employers that have linked to the organization psychologists graduates of "UCC-Espinal", the sample was non-probabilistic and the type of convenience sampling, given that to achieve the proposed objectives were established criteria for inclusion and exclusion of participants. The instrument used for this research was a survey called "surveys of employers on the education graduates they hire" designed by the Ministry of National Education, which aims to obtain information on employers' perception of the general competencies that employers have recent graduates of higher education they hire. As a result of the application of the instrument it was evident that the surveyed employers attach importance to the competences that have to do with personal training, (values and ethics, coexistence, teamwork and communication skills), followed by a series of competences. related to work performance (use of computer tools, identification, planning, adaptation, understanding and abstraction).
