Throughout history, women have taken possession of themselves in different areas as people with great abilities and equal conditions than men, as is the case of the labor aspect where the conception has been had that men have more possibilities of occupying better positions paid and with greater responsibility than women In Colombia, women represent a significant percentage of workers with high-ranking positions, which have performed in a positive way, positioning companies and entities as competent organizations in the labor market. However, there are sectors of the country where women are not satisfied and raise concerns about the lack of inclusion and lack of job opportunities that men have on a larger scale. This research of a social nature seeks to know the perception that women have about the progress in the implementation of a public policy for women and gender equality that was conceived in the Municipality of Sabana de Torres, Santander, from the labor aspect, which allows us determine if women feel included, taken into account and accompanied from the transversal lines that it has and thus be able to contribute and contribute to the recognition of women as people with all the integral capacities that they can contribute to the development of the Municipality, the region and from the country. The study was carried out with women from different associations of the Municipality of Sabana de Torres, Santander.
