Resumen
The following project presents the design and implementation of an intelligent prototype for measuring water consumption and control, which is developed with the aim of creating a mathematical modeling, to obtain a real measurement of consumption in the residential units of the city of Villavicencio. The system allows viewing and downloading the information on the values obtained from the water consumption of each microcontroller, observing the status of the sensors and the ease of controlling the service from any point with an internet connection, in addition, storing information on everything consumption history in a cloud database, which backs up the information in the event of accidental data loss in the collection process. The water measurement prototype is integrated by a flow sensor which counts the circulation of the volume of water through the control system, the conversion of electrical pulses obtained from the sensor to data is carried out on the processing board, The communication Wi-Fi module is also connected to the control board. The communication module is the device that receives and transmits information to the server, the data generated on the processing board is sent through this module to the database server and thus also receives the control pulses sent by the server of control. The data generated by the measurement prototype are stored in the database with its respective meter code, registration date and the measurement values; This information is used for mathematical modeling and thus obtain control and measurement of real water consumption in residential units, already obtaining the values obtained in case the consumption is greater than the average consumption, the system will send an alert to the mobile device indicating that it is exceeding normal consumption, in addition to making the calculations of economic values that users must cancel for the service. The results in the functional tests carried out on the different parts that make up the system, such as: the water flow count and records of the water consumption data in a database, show that the device has a confidence level of 98.5 %. Concluding in this way that the implemented measurement system automates the processes, helps to save on water consumption and to obtain readings according to those invoiced in the receipts of the utility company.
