The present research arises from the need to know real data on the problem of sexual violence in the Department of Huila. Its objective: To characterize particular and sociodemographic elements of victims and perpetrators of sexual crimes in the first half of 2016, belonging to the Department of Huila, registered in the SPOA Database of the Attorney General's Office. The type of descriptive, quantitative approach study with a probabilistic sample of 219 victims, opting for a simple random formula, calculating an error of estimation of 5%, (0.0025), a 95% confidence percentage (3.84) And a percentage of heterogeneity in the population of 0.25, (0.5 * 0.5). A matrix was constructed as an information collection tool, which consists of 29 variables based on the information contained in the complaints made by the victims in their statement. For the analysis of the results of this study we used the statistical program SPSS version 19. Among some results, it was found: the main victims are in 87% women, minors, with ages between 14 and 17 years in a 47%, students in 69.9% and have a grade of primary school incomplete in 30.1%; Belong in 13.2% to rural areas or settlements and in the city in 77% to socioeconomic strata 1 and 2, the most frequent sexual crimes for which they have been victims are: in a 40.2% sexual act with less than 14 years and in 24.2% abusive carnal access with children under 14 years. Victims in 91% know their aggressor either because they belong to their family or are known socially, in 99% the aggressors belong to the masculine gender, and are in 43% between the ages of 18 to 35 years, a 31% of the aggressors are engaged in independent activities, and 33% have a baccalaureate education level, in 34.7% of cases there is a family bond with the aggressor and because of this they have a greater control in the aggressions. Do not often use weapons or any kind of substance to carry out the crime.
