Resumen
The Minimal Security Agricultural Colony of Acacias, recognized by its acronym CAMIS ACACÍAS, is located at kilometer 3 of the Villavicencio - Acacias road, and has 4,200 hectares to house 1,273 inmates. It is the only prison in Colombia in which inmates can work outdoors in agricultural projects. These projects faithfully commit to the re-socialization of the inmate. However, currently the fish farming program is not being profitable for the Colony, since in the commercialization process there are many intermediaries to reach the end customer, causing a significant difference in profits, and further reflecting the little interest of the inmates from the Colony. As a solution to this problem, it is expected to strengthen the commercialization process of the Colony's fish farming program, through a strategic diagnosis that allows knowing what is happening in the program, this with the help of the information provided by the staff of the Program; subsequently, establish strategies that aim to take advantage of resources, to find new markets. Finally, develop the CANVAS model as a strategic management tool that promotes the competitiveness of the Colony's fish farming program, and that practically its good performance in the city generates a good impression on inmates who want to change their reality and thus be someone else. different in freedom, with important knowledge acquired in his passage through the Colony.
