Introduction: Having knowledge about what is called good oral health favors making decisions to maintain adequate levels of health. There is a problem that encompasses the population's ignorance about oral health issues, this causes a lack of knowledge of oral care. Objective: To determine the level of knowledge in oral health of students from faculties other than Dentistry at the Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia Campus Pasto. Methods: This is a non-experimental study, with a mixed, descriptive, cross-sectional approach. The data that was collected through a survey carried out virtually which consists of fifteen questions, the sample was made up of 197 of the different faculties of dentistry Results: of the surveyed students, the majority were female 61.9%, between 18 and 39 years old, 48.7% belonged to the Faculty of Medicine followed by the Faculty of Law with 34%, 56.3% of the respondents have received some training regarding oral health issues, however the appropriation of knowledge on oral health issues is not reflected. It was learned that the students have little knowledge of dental issues and are not clear about the causes of their oral health problems or the respective treatments to solve them. Conclusion: The level of knowledge regarding oral health of the students of different careers is scarce since they have not had information about these topics, they have dedicated themselves to their current careers without having the time to review topics related to the care of the oral health.
