This research addresses the issue of workplace and sexual harassment in female nurses at the Meta clinic in Villavicencio, due to the fact that in the health sector and specifically in this profession, most of the professionals belong to the female gender and the role they within institutions favors harassment in the workplace and has a significant influence on this type of inappropriate behavior, due to the excessive workload and strenuous workdays. Based on the above, a documentary review is carried out that allows characterizing the population object of study, which is why, the types of workplace harassment that are exercised and the consequences that could generate not only a physical level but also a mental level are determined. , since these inappropriate practices are framed as psychosocial risk factors, generating effects both in the intra-work and extra-work areas. The study presented below is descriptive in nature, with a qualitative cut, which allowed to design a a protocol for the prevention of workplace and sexual harassment, which is aimed at the sample that has been selected for convenience, in order to provide different strategies that allow them identify all those elements that are part of this, to which the professionals could be exposed, so that these types of situations can be prevented to get better quality of life, increasing well-being and protective factors, counteracting the possible effects of risk factors.
