Resumen
Teaching is one of the most important professions that teaches in various contexts, providing knowledge and tools in different areas; being in turn, one of the jobs that suffer most from Burnout Syndrome in Latin America. As for the most common symptoms are: exhaustion or lack of energy and decrease in the performance of tasks. Therefore, for teachers to carry out their activities efficiently, they must have the necessary tools to be in optimal physical, psychological and emotional condition. Thus, this proposal focuses on generating strategies through an intervention protocol that can help reduce the rates of work stress among university professors caused by exposure to psychosocial risks. Likewise, from the point of view of occupational safety and health, priority should be given to optimal conditions for the development of their academic activities, avoiding occupational diseases and/or accidents, based on a non-experimental qualitative approach, with descriptive cross-sectional design. The population to intervene will be the 16 full-time professors who are part of the payroll of the Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, Villavicencio, where two intervention protocols will be considered, one for Burnout Syndrome and the other for psychosocial factors in the education sector.
