Educational systems are currently facing the challenge of implementing and applying new technologies, wishing to provide their students with the tools and skills required in the 21st century. ICTs play a decisive role in the evolution of the different administrative, economic and academic processes, etc. ICTs have an unlimited application in the educational field, providing teachers and students with new teaching-learning methodologies in the daily work of the academy, positioning ICTs as an educational innovation that transforms education significantly. For this reason, the PETI, which is a tool of strategic value, was proposed for the purpose of optimizing competitiveness in educational processes. This methodology made it possible to make a diagnosis of the current situation in order to generate proposals with strategic objectives and thus guide the Corporation in the proper use of ICTs.
