This investigative work presents the process of analysis and proposal of motivational strategies that allow to awaken the interest of the students in the learning of the virtual Physical Education class in the secondary grades of the Bicentennial Institute of the Independence of the Republic of Colombia located in the city of Bucaramanga. This research was carried out with the purpose of designing and applying motivational strategies relevant to the specific context of the Institution, virtual modality, in the face of the low motivation indexes that students have with respect to the Physical Education class and the need to take to the practice cooperative learning and communicative approaches, thus favoring a more positive and active student attitude towards sport. This problem was approached from the exploratory approach, whose research design is transversal in that the information was collected according to the behaviors or experiences of the participating secondary school students in the virtual modality. The information was collected through the instrument called the Attitudes towards Physical Education Questionnaire (CAEF), which consists of 56 questions of which 18 questions were taken and modified according to the degree of relevance to the present investigation. The entire investigative process leads to the analysis of the motivation and demotivation presented by the students of the educational establishment in times of the COVID-19 Pandemic, which will be allocated to the Institution with the intention of serving as a more solid base that allows promoting the concrete action by the teacher in the area of Physical Education, Recreation and Sports.
