Resumen
The purpose of this research was to describe the exogenous sociodemographic factors that influence psychomotor development in schoolchildren linked to educational institutions in Bucaramanga and the United States. Thus, from a quantitative, analytical and cross-sectional approach, the TEPSI psychomotor development test was applied in a sample of 24 students of both nationalities, which assesses the components of motor skills, language, coordination. The results obtained allow us to infer that there are statistical differences between the two groups with respect to coordination and motor skills, being more significant in the Bucaramanga group, while in the language component, the American participants reflected better scores. It can be concluded that exogenous sociodemographic factors have an influence on psychomotor development at school age.
