The objective of the research proposed in this project is to define the knowledge of the teacher in the area of physical education of some educational institutions in the metropolitan area on the inclusion of students with disabilities in the classroom. According to the bibliographic review made, we take as a basis some important aspects, such as inclusion policies, types and history, likewise, we address the main models and types of disability, their pedagogy, methodology and strategies in physical education, education policies quality and skills of teachers for such knowledge. Methodologically we approach a quantitative research with a descriptive exploratory scope, having a cross-sectional design through a survey that is divided into three categories, in which a sample of 44 educational institutions was taken in which the knowledge of physical education teachers on inclusion, considering the variables gender, age and type of institution. It was possible to show that in private institutions there is better knowledge, there are spaces and curricular adaptations for the inclusion of children with some disability.
