Resumen
The present work contributes to the study and control generated by the light radiation, generated by the lights installed inside the library of the university Cooperativa the Colombia campus Villavicencio; by characterizing the different variables under study, taking samples, analyzing the result and diagnosing the behavior of light irradiance in the internal environment, it contibutes to the prevention of deterioration in the health of those who make use of the services offered. By the library in person, encouraging good practices in occupational health and safety, resulting in a technical document that will serve as a guide in the design, construction and adaptation of this type of space as practical learning environments that comply with the requirements set forth in the RETILAP standard (technical regulation for lighting), NTC 6199-5109-900 is monitored by the ministry of industry and commerce issued by the ministry of mines and energy. To carry out this study, it was necessary to use industrial equipment with international calibration such as the lux meter (UNI-T brand, model UT382 USB), and specialized software for simulation and analysis of data obtained with the equipment such as DIALUX (software to design, calculate and visualize light in a professional way), SPSS (statistical software that allows the capture of data analysis through tables and graphs).
