Resumen
Through this document, a methodological proposal for the diagnosis and design of rehabilitation of buildings with mechanical pathologies is described using as an academic method a non-existent structure that for academic purposes is in La Estrella, Colombia. The methodological structure described is carried out in three different phases: the first phase is the diagnosis through which it is intended to know the behavior of the building without knowing the damage through the method of dynamic modal analysis; The second phase is the evaluation of the building considering the effects of the damage on the structural elements and the performance of the structure in those conditions, carrying out the survey of the damage, its classification based on the severity and mode of behavior, and the application of resistance and stiffness reductions according to the damage classification of each affected element to achieve a final diagnosis of the local and global behavior of the building that guides a structural intervention project to correct deficiencies in rigidity or resistance obtained; and the third phase consists of a final diagnosis of the local and global behavior of the building once the structural intervention proposal has been made, which helps the structure to correct the deficiencies of rigidity or resistance obtained. Additionally, an alternative structural intervention is proposed according to the diagnosis. In the same way, the calculation reports, the design plans, the recommendations, and technical solutions for the intervention are presented, and the behavior of the structure after its rehabilitation is analyzed through specialized modeling. Finally, the results of the investigative process, its academic scope and conclusions are shown.
