Resumen
Corruption is a phenomenon that has come to permeate and affect the social, political, and economic structure of community life at different stages of history. This phenomenon is universal in nature, being more prone to occur in societies like ours due to the weakness of the social and political structure, coupled with a disproportionate concentration of wealth that makes larger every day the gap between, an increasingly powerful minority, and a vast majority struggling to survive. The aim of this research work is to establish the disparity in the concept of corruption developed by the different actors that are relevant in the development of a society. This is how we take a historical tour through the concept of corruption under different doctrinal and philosophical approaches, trying to establish its origin and meaning in different times, highlighting the future of man in his relationships as an individual and as a society. Then a historical analysis is presented from the perspective of the law, making mention of the norms that have been implemented as mechanisms to prevent and fight against acts of corruption in Colombia, seeking from this to give a legal definition of this phenomenon, concluding that the Legal mechanisms have been ineffective in preventing and punishing practices associated with corruption. Subsequently, corruption is addressed in the Colombian case and the way in which the Supreme Court of Justice structures the crimes associated with it. In the same way, the concept of corruption that the Constitutional Court has come to structure from the study of the constitutionality of the different anti-corruption norms is presented. Finally, we approach the concept of corruption in our environment as a country with the aim of establishing a new concept involving all the problems that are woven around it, thus managing to establish truly effective measures that cut off the advance of a problem that destroys us as a nation.
