Resumen
The present work determines the factors that have impacts on the current state of the road located on Calle 69 between Cr 5 and Cr 8 plus the segment of the road from Cr 8.a between Calle 69 and Calle 75 in the Jordán 8 neighborhood. Ibagué -Tolima stage. The study was carried out through the methodology of a visual inspection that was carried out in 11 sample units for a total length of 1,020 km and a detailed inventory of the same, in which the following were inspected: the road marking and the drainage system of the route under study, the above was carried out through six phases. As a first phase, georeferencing was carried out using the Google Earth tool. Second stage; The pathologies were identified through a visual inspection together with the degree of severity of each one of them. The general appearance of all the deteriorations was described, showing with a percentage of 70% in damages, the fragmented cracks, divided slab, cracks of corner and wear in the joint seal and with a percentage of 30%, the linear crack, spatter and finally the (small) patching in the study pathway, the level of damage was classified and evaluated by calculating the index of pavement condition (PCI), in order to propose mitigation measures, this diagnosis was able to provide conclusions and recommendations based on this methodology. Third phase; Vehicle gauging was carried out for two days that were chosen as a market day due to its high volume of vehicular traffic and another day with little vehicular flow. Finally, two equations were applied that allowed to find the average daily and weekly traffic result. Fourth and Fifth phase; A visual inspection was carried out to determine the state of the traffic signs and the drainage system. Sixth phase; so, continuing our reasoning, and based on the Visual Manual of Road Pavement (INVIAS), it is inferred that the main rehabilitation techniques for the subject addressed here are: sealing cracks and joints, as well as brushing the surface of slab.
