Resumen
Water supply is a basic human need and, therefore, a universal right. However, some populations are unable to enjoy this precious and vital liquid due to various factors, including the limited service level of the companies that provide it, the vulnerability of the sector, among others. For this reason, it is necessary to find alternative sources of water that allow to obtain the liquid in a practical and constant way, so that it can serve as supply to these generally small populations, at least in function of satisfying some of their essential needs. In this work we analyze the systems of fog-catching nets, which allow the capture of water from the atmosphere and its collection process. Within this study, the operation of some technified systems that also allow the collection of water from the fog is considered.
