Understanding the role and impact of leadership in an organization is considered an interesting challenge as it has an influence on productive dynamics and is one of the main drivers to generate a working climate that aligns with the needs of workers, which is why the objective of this study was to analyze the influence that leadership has on the organizational climate and the importance of it within the performance and satisfaction of employees in an organization. The study to the importance of leadership and the organizational climate within a business context and its influence in different organizational areas allowing to know the perceptions, problems and even strategies that are made to mitigate the negative impact of leadership. The study is therefore part of a qualitative and descriptive approach with a documentary sample of 50 documents that were collected from different virtual databases such as: Redalyc, Science Direct, Scielo and Dialnet from 2015 to 2019. Some phases of the PRISMA method were used, such as: Identification (Number of articles or investigations found, selection criteria), Selection (Total number of duplicate records or quotations and un accessed documents), Eligibility (Exclusion by descriptors in the title and/or summary, and the total number of complete articles and investigations analyzed) was determined, and Inclusion. Finally, it could be noted that leadership is a skill for people who play a role or play a role within an organization, institution, university, college among others, as well as leadership allows to understand the environment and the multiple factors that can influence in different ways an organizational system. The study expanded allusive knowledge to the field of search by noting that leaders have become an ongoing need in all organizations, taking into account that leadership has a significant impact on the organizational climate and this in turn generates better job performance and satisfaction within an organization.
