Resumen
The global quality score in the structure of the prenatal control program was located in an acceptable medium range. However, when analyzing each of the components, deficiencies in quality are observed in terms of physical plant and human resources. Regarding the process evaluated from the medical records, deficiencies were found, which shows that the technical standard is not being fully complied with in terms of its completion. The form for the evaluation of the prenatal control process based on medical records can be taken as a reference, which can guide us in the construction of the instrument based on current regulations. This study, like the one carried out at the EAN University - Universidad del Cauca, shows several aspects that influence the care of prenatal control, which will not be taken into account in our research, being 19 aware that not only the registration of the clinical history it is decisive in the quality of prenatal control, but there are other factors that also affect it.
