In the world of work, since the consolidation of production processes, man has played a leading role, therefore directing one's gaze towards them, from the investigative point of view, is a success, to the extent that the different aspects that comprise can be known the behavior of human beings in the workplace, therefore, emphasis is placed on the study of job skills, since they are the drivers of the development of the person in terms of their ability. Therefore, the investigative processes developed by the group have tended to analyze the limitations of personal and group order in the processes of labor inclusion, with the training and qualified contribution of the members of the group and in order to understand the realities of the region; In this same way, the project that concerns us today, aims to investigate and characterize the main competencies valued by employers during the selection process to develop the productive activity in the organization, since what is intended to be achieved in a selection process is the maximum coherence between the profile requested by the company and the characteristics offered by the candidates, so that the final results result in greater productivity for companies and development for workers. It is vain to think that companies and current economic trends are static, which means that the demands in terms of skills have been changing as production trends in the region migrate, a fact that worries employers and the labor market and higher education institutions. An example of said productive migration is the bet "Vision Tolima 2025" and the PECTIT TOLIMA 2020, which will be at the top in less than twelve years, where new challenges are exposed for people in the process of inclusion in the labor market, since The department is betting on the strengthening of agribusiness, a sector with a strong presence in the municipality, and makes its efforts in tourism and cultural industry and logistics, two new business sectors with a low presence in the municipality of Espinal and the south east of Tolima.
