In this work, comparisons of manual methods with respect to computational methods of the slope located in the village of La Helena with coordinates 98°51'53" N - 88°43'73" E, via San Bernardo were addressed. The work was carried out in different stages in order to generate a comparison of methods, which are Abaco of Hoek and Bray, Abaco of Janbu, Abaco of Taylor, Fellenius and Bishop against the methods of programming in Slide and Adonis, such as the Spencer Method, Fellenius, Bishop, Abaco of Janbu, Method corps of engineers and reduction of shear strength; these methods will be implemented to achieve a correct identification of the appropriate method for the application of the slope and thus determine the safety factor to calculate the level of risk. Therefore, in order to determine the risk that this slope has for this area, a quantitative analysis of the stability was carried out with the support of the Excel tool, with the calculation of the aforementioned methods and to be able to determine the Factor of Safety. Finally, it is concluded that with the results of the manual methods, the safety factors are not similar, finding very low or high safety factors for Slide and Adonis.
