Resumen
The objective of this work was to evaluate a system of vortex aeration and complementary, for the development of a tilapia culture supplemented with Biofloc technology, in geomembrane tanks that require artificial aeration systems for water oxygenation, in which traditionally. In this descriptive study, a hydraulic system was designed, based on the vortex principle, for the oxygenation of water, driven by a 0.5 HP motor pump, which increased the oxygen content, reduced CO2 and removed organic compounds that would alter their quality. Initially densities of 10 fish / m3 were handled, but due to the volume of water, as biomass was increased, it was necessary to implement a complementary aeration system that allowed the water to be distributed evenly throughout the pond, which allowed keeping a density of 8.04 fish / m3, at adequate levels of dissolved oxygen, temperature, pH and ammonium,. The crop was supplemented with Biofloc technology. For its implementation in future work, the vortex hydraulic aerator needs to be adjusted, according to the volumes of water that are used for the crop.
