Evictions in public property are procedures that are executed legally and recurrently in our country, these processes have a broad social background, because although evictions are carried out legally, sometimes the social policies that protect the fundamental rights of those affected. In the cases of evictions that occurred in Villavicencio Meta, the Constitutional Court always decides in favor of the protection of fundamental rights and, although the evictions must be carried out because property for public use is being occupied, the restitution of rights to the evicted people, guaranteeing their right to decent housing. In this paper, the Colombian regulations regarding evictions are highlighted, how to proceed when they are carried out, A tour is made of different sentences that have taken place for evictions in different parts of the country, with an emphasis on the eviction procedures that took place in Villavicencio Meta between 2011 and 2019. In turn, the regulations in other parts of the world are reviewed in order to identify similarities to eviction situations in Colombia. The consequences arising from eviction situations are identified from the point of view of legal regulations. Finally, national and international pronouncements from the United Nations and international amnesty regarding evictions stand out.
