The present research was carried out with the purpose of exploring the capacity of social cartography as a didactic strategy mediated by E-learning in the development of critical thinking in students of the tenth grade of the Institución Educativa Agroecológico Amazónico Camilo Torres in the municipality of Cartagena del Chairá - Caquetá. The research was pre-experimental, using the case study. In which there was the application of a Pre and Post-test. These tests were taken before and after the didactic strategy carried out on the Shoology platform. The population had 90 students; whose selected sample was 30. To evaluate the development of critical thinking, the validation of two critical reading questionnaires was chosen; these questionnaires were made up of 15 questions each and were carried out virtually using Google shapes. It should be mentioned that the didactic strategy framed within the social mapping and E-learning was carried out in ten weeks in the months of September, October and December, framed within the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Accordingly, descriptive statistical analysis was used to compare the data obtained from the instruments. Which showed an increase in the average number of questions answered by the students. Therefore, it can be concluded that social cartography and E-learning did develop the critical thinking of the tenth-grade students of the Instituciòn Educativa Camilo Torres.
