Resumen
The health system in Colombia was entered from the promulgation of the law 100 of 1993, in an economic scheme guided by market principles implemented the figure of insurers and granted the nature of business to care institutions in health. These conditions have given rise to a practice-oriented principles and logics that may affect the integrity of the performance of professionals in the areas of health, however, are situations poorly explored by scientific research, especially in the field of oral health. The Colombian dentist who has currently works in health services providers as part of the Health System, is part of this reality, and for this reason it is necessary to approximate its subjectivity and reveal from his own interpretation, the existence and management of possible relations of force between the regulatory provisions posed today by health as a fundamental right, explicit today in the law 1751, and the policies of their own institutions, governed by business principles and the professional autonomy, as an issue linked to the ethics of the professions of health.
