The purpose of the following work is to identify innovation and technology implementation strategies in MSMEs to strengthen their competitiveness in international trade. Several authors were collected with different points of view, such as (Jiménez, 2013), (Oslo Manual, 2005), (Ortiz & Nagles, 2015), (Benzaquen, Del Carpio et al 2010) within the variables addressed. It worked with a methodology, in which it was of type of documentary research, together with a non-experimental and transversal design, which could be achieved through the use of bibliographic data sheets as an instrument. Among the results of the review, Mipymes can implement strategies at different points of view. It was finalized that the strategies they implement to strengthen their competitiveness in international trade should be based on the need for compliance, in which they can be established through the activities they carry out, on sustainability and addressing. The following recommendations were then made on the basis of the subject in general, MSMEs should be willing to adapt to changes in international trade, because they can lead to changes in strategies.
