The fruit market is very dynamic and profitable. Particularly in Colombia, its wide variety allows different business organizations to dedicate themselves completely to the distribution and transformation of each fruit species. From small informal vendors to large supermarkets, it is possible to see at first glance that the demand for this type of product is very wide and the department of Tolima is one of the largest pantries in the country, where fruits such as melons and Papaya are grown in large quantities, which are sold to supermarkets and market places. In accordance with the above, for a company of any size that is dedicated to this type of market to be successful, it must have a strategic plan, which the different say is one of the main tools that an organization must have. . Under the present investigation, accompanied by the main administration processes such as planning, organizing, directing and controlling, the strategic plan is formulated for the company Comercializadora de Frutas YR, which for six years has had the commercialization of fruits as its corporate purpose. , particularly melon and papaya, for large and minority clients and within which their corporate goals and objectives will be identified.
