This article has the objective of analyze the effects of the painting in the attention process for children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), in a population of 12 children attending the Foundation “Crecemos Juntos” in the city of Pereira, enrolled in the “Liceo Taller Llinas” Workshop Program. The methodology of this research is quantitative. It is used as an instrument for scale evaluation the Conners scale for parents and teachers standardized and validated in Colombia by Pineda et al. (1999). The results show that both in the Conners questionnaire of teachers and in that of parents, the participants presented percentages of reduction in their average scores in the phases greater than 60% in all the variables. It is striking that painting as a treatment for ADHD proves to be effective in improving the attention process of children diagnosed with this disorder. In conclusion, it is possible that children with ADHD achieve a better focus and maintenance of attention through innovative psychotherapist proposals such as painting, because the more comprehensive the sea is the psychological intervention that will provide the best results will be obtained.
