This document is a research proposal which is focused on knowing the level of job satisfaction that nursing professionals have at the Departmental Hospital of the City of Villavicencio, this with the interest that it serves as a support base for improvement o the implementation of well-being plans at work, which allow to watch over and safeguard the psychosocial well-being of health professionals; At this time the world is in a health crisis, which makes it necessary to develop the optimal work of medical personnel. For this reason, a proposal is developed with a non-experimental cross-sectional design with the nursing staff of the Hospital de la ciudad de Villavicencio, with the aim of measuring the level of satisfaction they have with their jobs. It should be noted that the fact that there are various dimensions that are related to satisfaction cannot be ignored, which were taken up from the review of the bibliography. To conclude, it is important to point out that it will be carried out through a questionnaire called the General Satisfaction Questionnaire in Meliá and Peiró's Labor Organizations, thus identifying the points to intervene in future investigations. Additionally, it is highlighted that the search for information at the local level is scarce, that is, there are no research articles in the city of Villavicencio or in the Orinoquia region about said topic, being this so, it is considered that it can be a plus to do it.
