One of the main generating factors of academic stress in students is not being able to achieve their goals in their learning process, therefore, it causes repercussions at an emotional, physical and mental level, that is why it is important to have and put into practice the skills that college students have at the time. The present research aims to describe the academic stress in the learning process of the students of the Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, Villavicencio headquarters. University students have a series of habits that change over time since adverse situations for their health will be generated, facing academic demands for their future as a professional, which causes the abandonment of their natural habits, this research is From a descriptive quantitative approach, the SISCO inventory of academic stress will be used as a measuring instrument that has the objective of recognizing the characteristics of stress that tends to follow students of upper secondary, higher and postgraduate education during the years of their process academic, consisting of 45 items. We will work with the population of students who are enrolled in the Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, Villavicencio, a non-probabilistic or directed sample was selected which is aimed at a subgroup of the population that is approximately 15 students from different faculties that have characteristics with the investigation.
