Resumen
This project seeks to analyze the socio-emotional effects of gender discrimination in the post-conflict context, observing how frequently we find this problem in the academic sphere and how this affects the performance of those who suffer such discrimination. First, a bibliographic analysis is carried out to understand the origins of gender discrimination, in addition to the role of women throughout history; Following is a summary of what the conflict has been in Colombia and how women have suffered the humiliations of war as victims. Finally, a literary analysis is made of the book “the crown weaver”, a pedagogical proposal is also made in order to raise awareness of the path that women have traveled so that they are recognized and included. Methodology: Through surveys directed at the students of the Madre del Buen Consejo School in Floridablanca Santander, the perception of discrimination and its relationship with women in their educational institution was determined; Activities were also implemented to promote gender equality and healthy coexistence. Conclusions: it was found that students are more likely to feel emotionally affected by the possible mockery of their classmates when giving their opinion in classes, this behavior makes women participate with less intensity in relation to men, which affects their process Learning.
