In this reflexive article, it is consolidated as the main topic, the engagement and how it can be addressed from the humanism psychological approach, from the perspective of some schools and theories that arise from this area, like a logotherapy, school founded by Viktor Frankl and Abraham Maslow’s theory of human motivation. Given the nature of this article, it should be noted with respect to the authors who develop it, that they have a pluralist stance towards the epistemological vision of psychology in general; although this text is limited exclusively to addressing engagement from the humanism, the possibility is not closed about that is the only way, the authors encourage the reader and those with affinity with the research field to view this article as a proposal of the many ways that can work the engagement and the authors encourage the readers to expand the range of possibilities, if they consider it necessary; Similarly, in this article it was possible to conclude that there is a close relationship between humanistic psychology and engagement allowing to enhance the important aspects of it (vigor, dedication and absorption)
