The Tamalería Ibagué is a family project, a dream that transcends the creation of a social and environmental visión, which is aimed at generating added value from the basis of corporate social responsibility, foster and boost Tamal Tolimense's historical identity for the department, foster and boost Tamal Tolimense's historical identity for the department. "La Tamalería Ibagué" is a project born from the academy in the head of its co-founder and administrator Diana Paola Barrios Rojas, undergraduate student, Business Administration Program of the Cooperative University of Colombia; Colombia; who for their determination and ability to undertake challenges in achieving the objectives set out in his project, so he has gained academic recognition in institutions in the región thus the opportunity to make a presence in different academic scenarios, thus obtaining an important evolution of the Project throughout its development and implementation until it reaches its formal start-up and constitution. This evolution allows "La Tamalería Ibagué" to participate in the training program of "Entrepreneurship and female leadership: How to anticipate new challenges and opportunities?; Campus Iberus Campus Spain. The result of this participation in the Agro-Industrial Development Day ibagué, allows to obtain one of the awards awarded by the Iberus campus to each university being so the winner of the Cooperative University of Colombia, which awards recognition for performance and participation, and highlights this project for its growth, social and business projection for the region.
