| Resume: | El presente artículo analiza la pertinencia de los negocios en la base de la pirámide económica, haciendo una revisión de artículos en bases de datos Scopus y ScienceDirect. Entre los resultados se encuentra la necesidad de las personas pertenecientes al segmento base de la pirámide económica de acceder a productos de menor tamaño, menor costo, pagos fraccionados y bien diseñados, que, a la vez, benefician económicamente a las organizaciones que los introducen en este mercado. |
| Abstract: | This article analyzes the relevance of business at the base of the economic pyramid, making a review of articles in Scopus and ScienceDirect databases. Among the results, is the need for people belonging to the segment of the base of the economic pyramid to access products of smaller size, lower cost, fractioned payments and well-designed, which, at the same time, economically benefit the organizations that introduce in this market. |
