Resumen
The document consolidates the fixation systems for microorganisms, the efficiency of biofilms, in terms of the removal of pollutant load; the different types of support media that can be used for the adhesion of microorganisms and partial use in one of the main rivers of the city of Bogotá. In addition, the type of system more efficient and least effective in removing the pollutant load. Subsequently, the organic filter medium that provides the highest percentages of removal of BOD, COD and TSS. Additionally, emphasis was placed on the Polyethylene Tereflalate material, realizing the importance of the results found to be incorporated into future studies and finally in the Salitre river a comparison of the behavior of the physicochemical parameters from 2007 to 2016.
