Bullying is associated with an increased risk of depression and anxiety in childhood, adolescence, and adulthood; Children who are bullied, especially those who experience it often, continue to face health and social risks. Objective. The objective of this research was to know the symptoms and consequences of school adolescents who suffer from bullying. Methodology. With a systematic review research design, in which we used 34 articles, of which we only selected 26 that were extremely supportive to know the symptoms and consequences of adolescents who suffer from bullying and the consequences of this problem that affects everyone the students of the world. Findings. The findings found in the systematic review were: adolescents are more likely to suffer from bullying, adolescents from separated parents are more likely to suffer from bullying, any adolescent regardless of their socioeconomic status is prone to suffer from bullying, adolescents among the 13 and 15 years are more likely to suffer from bullying, adolescents with a disability are more likely to suffer from bullying, likewise homosexual adolescents are more likely to suffer from bullying and the highest percentage of bullying cases are not informed to the teachers. Conclusions. We can conclude that among adolescents there is a certain relationship between bullying and depression, given that bullying can present itself in different forms, any adolescent can suffer this type of abuse because there are no gender, age and socioeconomic class barriers. Adolescents who are currently most likely to experience bullying and depression in the future are those with less flexibility and family dysfunction. Recommendations. It is important to know that bullying will affect the mental health of all students. In the school environment, the most evident manifestation of depression is related to poor academic performance and coexistence problems, these are influencing factors; therefore, this is the key to reinforcing and / or enhancing their coping capacity and improving their support network, as well as carrying out early detection and promoting school integration.
