| Resume: | La epidemia por el COVID-19 tiene un impacto psicológico en la población general con consecuencias en la salud física y mental, esta investigación tiene como objetivo generar estrategias de afrontamiento social e individual en presencia de estados de depresión y ansiedad en los habitantes de Bucaramanga-Santander, su diseño es de tipo descriptivo transversal con un enfoque cuantitativo el cual se lleva a cabo por medio de los instrumentos IDER e IDARE. De acuerdo al análisis de los resultados se logra evidenciar un malestar emocional significativo en la población que podrían repercutir en enfermedades mentales, con esto se concluye la importancia que debe tener la atención de la salud mental después del confinamiento obligatorio. |
| Abstract: | The COVID-19 epidemic has a psychological impact on the general population with consequences on physical and mental health, this research aims to generate social and individual coping strategies in the presence of states of depression and anxiety in the inhabitants of Bucaramanga- Santander, its design is of a cross-sectional descriptive type with a quantitative approach which is carried out through the IDER and IDARE instruments. According to the analysis of the results, it is possible to show a significant emotional distress in the population that could have repercussions in mental illnesses, with this the importance of mental health care after mandatory confinement is concluded. |
