In the following article, the design of a pavement structure was evaluated by means of the short slab methodology (TCP), applied on the roads of the metropolitan area of the city of Santa Marta D.T.C.H. with emphasis on the countries of Chile, Colombia and Peru between the years (2015-2020), because this technology aims to reduce their geometries without altering their functionality with respect to conventional pavement structures (PCA). In addition, the stresses caused in the pavement by the punctual loads of the tires on the pavement, modeled in the SAP 2000 software, were evaluated. Using the short slab methodology (TCP), the reduction in the thickness of the tread layer with respect to the conventional methodologies, according to the transit variable.
