Resumen
This Manual for Estimating the Time Required to Build a Home is the product of a systematic literature review. It is based on scientific, technical and legal knowledge. Its content is structured in six chapters entitled: contextualization, reference framework, time estimation, application in a two-level house, recommendations and conclusions. Contextualization presents the sufficient and necessary information that the Manual identifies: Title, background, formulation, objectives, justification and scope. The Reference Framework contains a broad outline of the conceptual and technical information underlying the manual and the specific standards taken into account in its preparation. It addresses the topics: land, housing, construction process, measurement of work quantity, personnel administration, work scheduling and construction performance. The Estimation of time in the construction of a house contains the process and the formats for collecting technical information and time duration by activities. The application in the construction of a two-level house is the verification of the Manual on a specific housing prototype. The process is applied and the technical and operational data collection forms are completed that led to the determination of the time required for the construction of the work under consideration. The manual presents specific recommendations in obtaining technical information, which are useful for the results of the process. The Conclusions refer to the usefulness of the manual in preparing the budget and scheduling work.
