Resumen
This study starts from a systematic analysis of the literature, in which the evolution of educommunication was investigated. This document was divided into two categories; firstable, the evolution of the concept and secondly the evolution of educommunication strategies, addressing the evolution in the concept, it is possible to understand the importance of the educommunication’s terminology and how it was developed along time, further the difference between the term Anglo-Saxon and Latin American. On the other hand, the projects allow us to understand the contributions that have made to education, mostly to the benefit of development and social inclusion, moreover the construction of a critical citizenship and broader communication skills. Finally, educommunication or educational communication should be used as a tool in this new context of TICTs, because these technologies provide new training spaces where vertical information must be left behind and promote bi-directionality feedback through dialogue. In this way will contribute to forming more critical beings that are formed with educational bases but also develop their own analysis and opinions before the mass media and new technologies.
