The Meta Department labor market observatory (ORMET), through its trajectory in human capital studies and the Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia Villavicencio headquarters with the Business Administration program (UCC), articulated efforts to investigate and obtain more Knowledge of the characteristics and gaps of human capital in the oilseed sector in the department of Meta. With the present study, the entrepreneurs of the oilseed sector, information and knowledge of the current training needs, identified in the field work carried out in the sector. Likewise, the research process was descriptive, here it concludes with the analysis of gaps in quantity, quality, relevance, profiling and skills, which culminates with very specific aspects of the workers and how the hiring of this labor force in search operates. of development and innovation. The aforementioned was quantified and analyzed using established matrices, for certain, the results were punctual regarding the frequency of specific skills in human resources and the need of the sector to improve its quality processes. Likewise, the study concludes with a specific action plan that proposes corresponding actions to promote the solution of problems with all the actors that intervene in the sector, as well as, type of intervention, financing, among others; therefore, a roadmap is being constructed to close the relevant, sufficient and important human capital gaps for the oilseed sector in the Department of Meta.
