Resumen
This study aims to identify the main factors that provide the perception of decent work in health workers hired by different recruitment models, and how there are differential perceptions between them. For this, we start with a methodological and conceptual framework where the main aspect is the outsourcing and its relationship to decent work. The study was carried out in 114 people including medical, operational, general services and surveillance workers, in two hospital centers of the city of Medellín, one public and one private. The most relevant result is related to differences between health workers who are directly hired with respect to those who are hired by outsourcing: the perception of basic needs satisfaction through remuneration, the length of the working day and the possibility of having quality time which is reduced in outsourced workers.Furthermore, there was a negative view regarding the occurrence of accidents and diseases at work.
