The work that is presented evaluates the Financial Assurance Practices of the Official Educational Institutions of the Municipality of Ibagué, which aims to promote the improvement in the financial processes that the rectors (expense computers) and administrative assistants with financial functions carry out in the educational services funds - FSE in the educational institutions of the municipality of Ibagué, and at the same time, achieve the articulation and unification of concepts, procedures, practices, formats and instruments in budgetary and accounting matters, with the purpose of having a coordinated management of the management tools for planning, execution and control to achieve the efficient use of resources, taking into account the principles of the administrative function that will help fulfill the institutional educational project - PEI, generating greater social impact in meeting the needs of the population student. It is noteworthy that given the condition of autonomy that the rectors have for the management of resources, it should be taken into account that public officials are committed to acting under moral and ethical principles both personally and professionally, interacting simultaneously with scoops of responsibility, speed, publicity, efficiency, effectiveness, equity, economics and results management.
