Abstract

This project is of great importance when it comes to carrying out epidemiological investigations, aimed at patients with a confirmed diagnosis for coronavirus, with great satisfaction was being in contact with these people and determining their contagion process and thus contribute to the containment and spread of the virus, without forgetting the monitoring and education phase given to each of the patients. In the development and practice of this exercise it was necessary to carry out tele consultations, telephone calls to patients, to know their current state of health, before its contamination and the current one, as well as to identify the people with whom they were in contact, Identifying their affiliation to the social security health system, knowing information about their place of residence and guiding them to the proper use of personal protection elements and hygiene habits were one of the many variables that were intended to be known and analyzed and that with their obtaining They have allowed the state and health secretaries to mitigate and control the spread of this virus, hence the importance of these epidemiological files. We can conclude that as epidemiology students these practices provided us with a lot of knowledge, receiving support from the leaders, who were unconditional in this process, many of them in the different observations and advice provided and that are vital for the time of exercise my work as a future epidemiologist.
