The SANMELCO SAS company is located in the city of Barrancabermeja, it carries out activities such as: supply of personnel, supply of transport, assembly of metal structures, assembly of fiberglass structures, among others, with operations in the Magdalena Medio region and the whole country. Among its objectives as a company, it is to remain in the market to give profitability to its owners and well-being to interested parties. Since the start of its operations took place less than a year ago, SANMELCO SAS wants to establish strategies that allow it to achieve its objectives; Therefore, it wants to implement a strategic plan to improve organizational assertiveness in its operational area, since the vast majority of the company's activities are carried out from there. Therefore, a diagnosis was made through the adjustment of the Rathus Test to know the current state of assertiveness and propose strategies that respond to the results of the initial diagnosis. 31% of the respondents obtained a confrontational assertiveness rating and despite the fact that none was categorized as assertive, very assertive, or definitely assertive, there are no collaborators in this area with a definitively assertive result. Thus, based on the assertiveness subdimensions proposed by Vargas and León, the averages and deviations were reviewed to relate the strategic activities that make up the plan presented here.
