Resumen
Optimising mobility and widening routes is an essential part of people’s comfort and safety. That is why it is necessary to implement pavements such as rigid, which is made up of a hydraulic concrete slab, supported on the subgrade or on a layer, of selected material, which is called the rigid pavement subbase. (Montejo Fonseca, 1998, p. 5) The Guamito road leading to Vereda Miralindo, although it currently has a rolling layer in asphalt material, is currently facing great difficulties in terms of the mobility of the inhabitants of the sector, therefore, in order to help resolve this problem, a proposal is presented for a geometric design for the route that is based, as much as possible, on the Colombian norm. Technical visits were made to obtain the data and materials necessary for the development of the project, a topographic survey was made with a total station and the deltas were georeferenced with GPS, a photogrammetry was carried out, data collection of the traffic and finally some apiques for the soils study. With this information obtained, passing it to the AutoCAD Civil 3D software and with the guide of the INVIAS Geometric Design Manual of Roads, the type of design that will be executed was defined. In addition, the use of a rigid pavement-type running surface was determined due to the functionality it exhibits on tertiary roads.
