The importance of the personnel selection process in a company begins through the recruitment and profiling of resumes, clarifying the above is the fundamental part of the process to start an interview and thus select the candidates requested in a selection process. In the first instance, the objective of this document is to identify the general aspects of the interview, its phases or stages into which they are divided regardless of the field of application; as well as investigating how this is developed in the personnel selection process, where the field of organizational psychology is deepened, identifying the stages step by step, exposing those differential elements that make the interview of unique selection compared to the others , highlighting the relevance of why carrying out a good management in the interview application process leads to having more information that leads to results that aim to choose an ideal candidate and finally synthesize under an updated vision, information related to the most essential skills and competencies to be developed by the organizational psychologist at the time of application.
