Introduction: Pregnancy in adolescence constitutes a health problem worldwide, due to the complications and risks that it implies for the mother and the child, as well as for its psychosocial impact. Objective: To determine the predisposing factors of pregnancy in adolescents of the Taganga district. Methodology: quantitative descriptive and cross-sectional study in a group of pregnant adolescents in the Taganga district. With a sample of 87 pregnant teenagers. Being the primary source of data collection Questionnaire associated factors in teenage pregnancies. statistical measures of frequency and percentage distributions were applied. Results: among the sociodemographic characteristics that the average age of pregnant adolescents is 15 to 17 years old with a percentage of 71.3%, their level of education is secondary with 57.5%, 100% of stratum 1 and They live single. The knowledge of family planning methods will use a fundamental role in avoiding an early pregnancy but according to this research Evidence will be recorded with the best results. The reason for the quality in the Taganga district shows so many pregnancies in adolescents according to the survey carried out that in most of the population 41.4% lack information about sexual life and family planning.
