Resumen
CENET is a medium-sized company dedicated to the manufacture of software with approximately 20 years of experience in the industry, it has 2 offices, one in Bogotá and the other in Medellín, due to its growth and increase in market share it has been seen in the need to scale your telecommunications network to reliably and securely support your operation. However, when collecting and analyzing the information, we found that the communications rack or closet subsystem of the office data room and the two data centers (Main and Backup) were in disarray, not in compliance. Most of the articles of the international standard issued for the matter, causing deficiencies in communication, attention to incidents and detection of failures. Taking into account the findings, the investigation was carried out which focused on the design and organization of the communication racks already mentioned under the international standard issued by ANSI / TIA / EIA 568 B, ANSI / TIA / EIA 569 B and TIA 942 applicable for America and Colombia. Initially, we compiled the information using checklists built under the considerations of international standards, later we analyzed the information finding that 5 of the 6 subsystems were complying with the standard, once the focus subsystem (telecommunications rack) was identified, we proceeded To carry out the design based on the ANSI / TIA / EIA 568B and EIA 942 standards of the 3 communication cabinets, once the design was ready, the implementation in the main and backup rack under the ANSI / TIA / EIA standard 569 B. In the case of the communications room Rack, the design is delivered to the company for later implementation.
