Resumen
In the rural area of the municipality of Palermo specifically in the poultry farms with economic activity of egg production and that these farms are located in the moral jurisdiction of the inspection of Ospina Perez, have been presenting a decline in their daily production, this occurs outside the normal production cycle of the hens and is caused to the high contaminants found in water. These contaminants called particulate materials such as mud, dust, sand, stones and also the solids in suspension such as vegetation in a state of decomposition and animal eses are acquired during the journey that the water makes in its line of supply to the open air, this line of supply of the vital liquid begins from the hatcheries located in areas removed from the farm to the storage tanks located in the henhouses and then supplied to the drinking fountains. In order to reduce or contain this type of contaminants that the water acquires on its way to the open air, a poultry water drinker has been redesigned with a polypropylene spun cartridge filter system that, due to its polyspun (polisher) settler characteristics and its polypropylene raw material that does not contaminate the water and its diameter measurements 2. 5″(standard) and 4.5″ (bigblue), with an ideal height 10″, 20″, 30″ and 40″ and a filter capacity of 1, 5, 10, 20, 30 and 50 microns ideal for reducing particulate matter and suspended solids by 90%. It improves egg production and the quality of life of the hens.
